Havana has been called one of the most beautiful colonial cities
in Latin America. With its fantastic architecture and the
fabulous colors mixed with the Cuban way of life, this can
only bring a smile to your face. Upon arrival to your hotel, our
guide will meet
you for a Mojito and information for the days to come.
|
 |
Our day will start with a stroll down the famous pedestrian
street "Obispo". After visiting the narrow streets and squares in
Old Havana, we will go for our welcome lunch in one of the historic
buildings, of our which many houses restaurants of international
standard. By coach we will go for pickup of our bikes and ride for
a visit to the Hemingway House, the famous American author. On our
way back to our
hotel, we will go by Cojimar Harbour, where Hemingway boat was
anchored when he was in Cuba. Lunch, Welcome Dinner and visit to
Hemingway House included.
|
 |
Departure for the National Forest and Las Terazzas, where you
can have a swim in the small waterfalls. Before arrival to our
hotel in Vinãles, we will visit the cave Cueva del Indio and the
mountain wall painting Mural de la Prehistoria. A tobacco
plantation is also on our agenda, where we will see and hear about
the growing of tobacco leaves. Lunch, boat trip and dinner
Included.
|
 |
Leaving the mountains from Vinãles and down to the "Autopista".
This highway is not only for cars and motorcycles. You will also
meet bicyclists, horse carriages and cattle on the side of the
road. Not what we perhaps are used to, but very color full. After
passing Havana and on route towards Playa Larga, we turn o the
highway towards the peninsula Cienaga de Zapata and the Bay of
Pigs. Before lunch at Cuevo de los Peces, we stop for a visit at a
crocodile farm. Before check in at our hotel, we will visit the Bay
of Pigs Museum at Playa Giron. Lunch and dinner included.
|
 |
Ever dreamt of swimming with Dolphins? Now you have the chance!
After departure from Playa Larga we head for Cienfuegos, by some
called the jewel of the south coast. Before lunch at a local
Paladar, we stop at the historic main square in Cienfuegos. After
lunch we will ride down to Playa Luna to see the Dolphins and for
an extra charge, you can swim with the Dolphins. A very unique
experience, said by many of our guests. Riding along the coast
line, we arrive into Trinidad, listed as a World Heritage Site by
Unesco and you understand why when you see this beautiful and
historic city. Streets covered with copper stones, beautiful houses
and colors. The city was founded on the wealth from sugar and
slavery and you can still sense the spirit from the colonial days.
Dinner and Dolphin show included.
|
 |
Today we do a short ride out to one of the many sugar cane fi
elds to see, how the growth and production of sugar juice was done.
The juice Guarapa is also called "Cuban Red Bull". Upon return to
our hotel you can choose on your own to visit Trinidad, relax at
the pool or perhaps convince the guide to go for a swim in the
Caribbean Sea just a few kilometers from the hotel. Dinner
included.
|
 |
Santa Clara, perhaps the most important City during the
revolution in 1958, is our goal for the day. Amongst others, we
will visit the monument and mausoleum for Ché Guevara, the
liberator of Santa Clara. After a short siege of the city, Ché took
over control and shortly after the former President Batista left
Havana, leaving the city to the rebel troops of Fidel Castro. Our
way to Santa Clara will be across the Escambray Mountains and we
will do some stops on the way to enjoy the scenic jungle forest.
Dinner included.
|
 |
Leaving Santa Clara for Havana. We will take some of the byways
before going to the Autopista once again. We will pass small
villages, farmland and some of the grape fruit plantations. Stop
for lunch on the way before we have to return our bikes in Havana.
We will all gather for our farewell dinner and if you have booked a
show at the Cabaret Tropicana, we will arrange pick up and drop o
for you. Dinner included.
